Cyrusher Sonder Lite Folding Electric Bike

The Cyrusher Sonder Lite is a compact folding electric bike designed for urban commuting, travel and convenient storage. Its 6061 aluminium-alloy frame folds into a more manageable format for apartments, car transport and public transport, while 20×2.0 tyres provide a practical balance between manoeuvrability, stability and everyday road comfort.

Power comes from a 36V 250W brushless rear hub motor, delivering electrical assistance to a top assisted speed of 15.5 mph. A torque sensor measures rider input to provide more responsive assistance, helping the motor deliver support in proportion to pedalling effort while maintaining a natural riding feel around town.

The Sonder Lite uses a 36V 10Ah battery integrated into the saddle area, with a maximum published range of approximately 40.4 miles. The battery is designed for everyday urban journeys, while the manufacturer states an approximate charging time of five to seven hours.

Actual riding range varies according to rider weight, assistance level, speed, terrain, gradients, tyre pressure, temperature, wind and stop-start riding. Frequent acceleration and stronger assistance increase battery consumption, while moderate assistance on flatter routes can extend riding distance. The 40.4-mile figure therefore represents the manufacturer’s maximum published range rather than a fixed distance for every ride.

The bike uses 20×2.0 urban tyres mounted on aluminium-alloy rims and a lightweight aluminium frame. Its folding design incorporates a magnetic locking system that helps keep the bike compact when folded, making storage and transport easier in smaller spaces.

Stopping is handled by hydraulic disc brakes, while a Shimano 7-speed drivetrain provides conventional mechanical gearing. A colour smart display presents key ride information, and the bike also features an integrated LED front light, rear brake light, adjustable saddle and factory-fitted rear cargo rack.
