DYU M20 All-Terrain Fat Tyre Electric Bike

The DYU M20 is a full-size all-terrain electric bike built around a non-folding aluminium frame, motorcycle-style saddle and wide 20 × 4-inch fat tyres. Its substantial chassis is designed for commuting, leisure riding and appropriate mixed terrain, while the broad tyre profile provides additional contact with the riding surface across paved roads, compact trails, sand and other suitable conditions.

Electric assistance is provided by a motor rated at 250W continuous output with a stated peak output of 1000W. The electrical system is configured with a maximum assisted speed of 15.5 mph and offers electric, pedal-assist and conventional pedal riding modes. Shimano 7-speed gearing provides mechanical gear selection for different gradients and riding conditions, allowing the drivetrain and electrical assistance to work together across changing terrain.

The M20 uses a 48V 18.2Ah lithium battery with a stated energy capacity of 873.6Wh. The manufacturer publishes a maximum pedal-assist range of approximately 100 miles under suitable conditions, while the dedicated technical data lists approximately 62 miles in throttle mode. The battery therefore combines a relatively high energy capacity with separate range figures depending on how electrical assistance is used.

Actual riding range varies according to rider weight, total payload, terrain, gradients, assistance level, throttle use, average speed, tyre pressure, temperature, wind and stopping frequency. The manufacturer states that the 100-mile figure is associated with favourable pedal-assist conditions, while pure-electric riding in more demanding terrain may produce a substantially shorter distance. The maximum published range should therefore be treated as a best-condition pedal-assist figure rather than a fixed distance for every journey.

The M20 combines 20 × 4-inch fat tyres with a full suspension system consisting of a front shock-absorbing fork and dual rear shock absorbers. This configuration is designed to reduce impacts and vibration over changing surfaces while the wide tyres provide traction and stability. The aluminium frame is non-folding, measuring approximately 71 inches long, 27 inches wide and 45 inches high in its assembled riding configuration.

Braking is handled by dual-actuated mechanical disc brakes, while Shimano 7-speed gearing provides drivetrain flexibility for different gradients. The M20 also includes a high-brightness headlight, long padded saddle and three riding modes. Published net weight is approximately 88 lb with a maximum load of approximately 265 lb, and the specified battery charging time is approximately seven to eight hours.

With its 250W rated motor, 1000W peak output, 48V 18.2Ah battery and 100-mile maximum published pedal-assist range, the DYU M20 combines long-range electrical capacity with a substantial all-terrain chassis. Full suspension, 20 × 4-inch fat tyres, Shimano 7-speed gearing and mechanical disc brakes create a versatile specification for longer journeys, commuting and suitable mixed-surface riding.
