ENGWE O20 Boost Folding Step-Through Electric Bike

The ENGWE O20 Boost is a compact folding electric bike featuring a step-through 6061 aluminium-alloy frame and 20-inch wheels. Its folding frame and stem make storage and transport more convenient while maintaining a practical full-featured setup for commuting and regular everyday journeys.

A 250W rated hub motor works with a torque sensor and five pedal-assistance levels for responsive electric assistance. Boost mode provides 75Nm of torque for additional support when starting or climbing, while the top assisted speed is limited to 15.5 mph.

The integrated 48V 15Ah battery provides 720Wh of capacity and uses LG 21700 cells with a battery management system. The bike delivers a maximum tested range of approximately 88 miles in PAS 1, with riding distance varying across the different assistance levels.

Actual riding range can vary depending on assistance level, rider weight, gradients, road surface, tyre pressure, temperature, stopping frequency and riding style. Higher assistance settings, repeated acceleration and more demanding routes can reduce the distance achieved from a single charge.

The O20 Boost uses 20 × 2.125-inch urban hybrid tyres together with a hydraulic front suspension fork offering adjustable lockout and 50 mm of travel. The step-through frame provides straightforward access, while the compact wheel format complements the bike’s folding design.

Hydraulic double-piston brakes with 160 mm front and rear disc rotors are paired with a Shimano Altus 8-speed drivetrain. The bike also features a 3.5-inch colour display with Bluetooth, ENGWE app connectivity, front and rear lights, a 4A charger and an included rear rack. Bike weight is approximately 25 kg and maximum load capacity is 150 kg.
