PVY Z20 PRO EVO Folding Electric Bike

The PVY Z20 PRO EVO is a folding electric bike built around an upgraded 6061 aluminium frame and compact 20 × 2.125-inch wheels. Its folding construction makes storage and transport more convenient, while an adjustable stem, rear rack and mudguards add practical features for commuting and everyday journeys. The bike weighs approximately 50 lb and supports a published maximum load of approximately 265 lb.

Electric assistance is provided by a 250W brushless geared hub motor producing a stated 50Nm of torque. A torque sensor responds to rider input for more proportional pedal assistance, while three assistance levels allow the amount of motor support to be adjusted. The standard motor-assisted speed is 15.5 mph, and Shimano 7-speed gearing provides mechanical gear selection for different gradients and riding conditions.

The Z20 PRO EVO uses a removable 36V 14.5Ah battery with two published range figures. Pedal-assist riding is rated at approximately 75 miles under suitable conditions, while electric-mode riding is rated at approximately 37 miles. The removable battery design allows more convenient charging away from the bicycle when required.

Actual riding range varies according to rider weight, payload, assistance level, throttle use, gradients, tyre pressure, temperature, wind, road surface and stopping frequency. Continuous electric-mode operation places greater demand on the battery than regular pedal assistance, while steady pedalling and moderate assistance can extend riding distance. The 75-mile figure therefore represents the maximum published pedal-assist range rather than a fixed distance for every journey.

The Z20 PRO EVO combines 20 × 2.125-inch tyres with a shock-absorbing front fork and an upgraded 6061 aluminium folding frame. The suspension fork helps reduce vibration and impacts from uneven urban surfaces, while the rear remains a conventional rigid-frame configuration. Its compact wheel size and folding chassis are designed around practical commuting, leisure riding and space-conscious storage.

Braking is handled by mechanical disc brakes, while the Shimano 7-speed drivetrain uses a conventional chain system and 52T crankset. Equipment includes an HD LCD display, 1200-lumen front light, integrated rear light, quick-release front wheel hub, mudguards and rear rack. The electrical system also uses separate water-resistance ratings for the wiring, display and lights, motor and battery enclosure.
