PVY Z20 PRO Folding Electric Bike

The PVY Z20 PRO is a folding electric bike built around an upgraded 6061 aluminium frame and 20 × 2.3-inch tyres. Its compact folding design is intended for commuting, everyday riding and easier storage, while an adjustable stem, rear rack and mudguards add useful practicality for regular journeys. The bike uses a conventional rear-frame layout rather than a full-suspension chassis.

Electric assistance is provided by a 250W brushless motor with a published torque output of 50Nm. A cadence sensor detects pedal movement, while three pedal-assist levels allow the rider to adjust motor support according to riding conditions. Shimano 6-speed gearing provides mechanical gear selection, and the standard motor-assisted speed is limited to 15.5 mph.

The Z20 PRO uses a removable 36V 10.4Ah battery. The manufacturer publishes a pedal-assist range of approximately 50 miles and an electric-mode range of approximately 25–31 miles, depending on riding conditions. The portable battery design also allows charging away from the bicycle when required.

Actual riding range varies according to rider weight, total payload, assistance level, throttle use, gradients, road surface, tyre pressure, temperature, wind and stopping frequency. Continuous electric-mode use increases battery consumption compared with regular pedal assistance, while steady pedalling and moderate motor support can extend distance. The 50-mile figure therefore represents the maximum published pedal-assist range rather than a fixed distance for every journey.

The Z20 PRO combines 20 × 2.3-inch tyres with a front shock-absorbing suspension fork. The tyres are designed around everyday road and urban use while providing additional cushioning compared with narrower city-bike tyres. The rear of the frame does not use a dedicated suspension shock, so the Z20 PRO should be described as a front-suspension folding electric bike rather than a full-suspension model.

Mechanical disc brakes provide braking control, while the Shimano 6-speed drivetrain uses a 48T crankset. Equipment includes an HD LCD display, 1200-lumen front light, integrated rear light with brake-light functionality, rear rack, mudguards and throttle mode. Published bike weight is approximately 49 lb excluding accessories, with a maximum load capacity of approximately 265 lb.
