VITILAN V3 2.0 Folding Fat Tyre Electric Bike

The VITILAN V3 2.0 combines a folding aluminium alloy frame with 20 × 4-inch fat tyres, creating a compact electric bike designed for commuting, leisure riding and mixed-surface routes. The folding frame reduces the amount of space required when the bike is stored and can make transport more practical when sufficient vehicle space is available. Its wide-tyre format provides a substantial contact patch for paved roads, gravel, compact trails and other suitable riding surfaces.

Power is supplied by a 750W brushless rear motor with a stated peak output of 1200W and 80Nm of torque. Five pedal-assistance levels allow the rider to adjust electrical support, while a Shimano 7-speed drivetrain provides mechanical gearing for changing gradients and riding conditions. The standard speed setting is 15.5 mph, and the electrical system can be unrestricted to approximately 28 mph. A half-twist throttle is also fitted for direct motor control.

The removable 48V 13Ah lithium-ion battery has a stated capacity of approximately 625Wh and provides a published riding range of approximately 30–45 miles, based on the stated 48–73 km range. The battery is integrated into the folding frame and can be removed for separate charging. A 48V 2A smart charger is specified, with a typical charging period of approximately 5–6 hours.

Actual range depends on the assistance level, throttle use, rider weight, payload, gradients, terrain, speed, tyre pressure, temperature, weather conditions and frequency of stopping and accelerating. Sustained higher-speed riding, steep climbs and frequent throttle use place greater demand on the battery, while moderate assistance levels, steady speeds and active rider input can reduce energy consumption during a journey.

The V3 2.0 uses 20 × 4-inch CHAOYANG fat tyres together with a mechanical front suspension fork. The wide tyres are designed to provide additional traction and cushioning across changing surfaces, while the adjustable front fork helps absorb impacts and vibration from uneven ground. The bike uses front suspension rather than a full-suspension configuration, keeping the rear frame section mechanically simpler.

Hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors provide braking control, complemented by a multifunction display that shows riding information and allows adjustment of the five assistance levels. Equipment also includes a 48V front light, rear LED light with turn-signal functionality, a half-twist throttle and Shimano 7-speed rear derailleur. The published maximum payload is 330 lb, approximately 150 kg, with a recommended rider height of approximately 5’4″ to 6’5″.
